You will be in a space station after doctors do a procedure on you.

It’s the mission after “Play It Safe” and just before the final story mission.

Then you can choose to join their medical program and have them archive your mind, or return to earth but die from your injuries within months. You will end up on a space station where doctors are doing an experimental operation on you, because you sustained serious head injuries. The Devil Ending (Where is My Mind? Epilogue)Įnding Description: In the Devil Ending you will help Takemura avenge the death of Saburo Arasaka. Just follow the instructions below exactly and don’t worry about other choices throughout the story. Then you can reload this for future replays.

To save some time on replays, it’s recommended to keep a Manual Save before you talk to Misty on the balcony. Then you can replay this mission to go through all the different Endings. It will put you back before the Point of No Return (before starting the final mission “Nocturne Op55N1”). Also I do preffer the earlier timeline of 2nd and 3rd game, compared to late period Japan present in 4th and 1st game, which should be noted (If you like to wield firearms in a samurai game, 4 is the way to go then). After the Credits you can choose the “One More Gig” option.

WotS2 improved fighting & styles and also expanded the game a lot in almost every regard, but it became quite longer per playthrough (so if you aimed for specific ending, it could become tedious to repeat ton of things). I still like WotS1 the most for the compact world and characters, this new instant(short) action adventure style + it introduced me to this heavy-branching storyline series, so big dose of nostalgia involved with this one. Not a bad game though, just different from the rest of the series. I personaly don't like the prospect that much - when it was announced back then, I expected something like reboot of the first game for the new-gen hardware, but ended somewhat dissapointed by such cheesy overload.

It has better graphics (this time it looks PS3 for real), more easy going I would say overall for your usual couch gamer. Go WotS4 if you want more wacky game, over the top and super-campy in every regard. Some gameplay mechanics might feel clunky if you are too used to modern games though.
#Way of the samurai 1 ending ps2
PS2 era graphics still, despite it was PS3 game.
#Way of the samurai 1 ending series
Classic Kurosawa-like story with 3 factions with you as ronin in between them, similar vibe to the earlier games in the series - more sandboxy, less handholding. I would say go WotS3 if you like more the classic feel in games. Since I don't know you, so I don't know what kind of experience you like. Wots is very subjective series, you ask 10 people and everyone will tell you their favourite game + different reasons.
